Septage – Compilation front cover
Sometime after completing the two Septage EPs, I was asked to work on a 12″ cover for a record that was meant to combine the two EPs. The 12″ never came to be, rather it was released as a cassette. I made the collage thinking of the larger format (and also with no band logo on top of it), but hey, you can’t win every time. My idea this time was to keep it a little more simple again. Less structure, I suppose. I am a big fan of the center figure shitting out his insides. Included below is also a sketch for a gatefold version, that I guess we were talking about at some point, for which the two EP front covers (without logos) would be the inside of the gatefold. That surely would have been something special.
